Olof: Current version of the Mobile Trail Explorer doesn’t yet support HGE-100. There has been some discussion about supporting that device and hopefully we will be supporting it in the future releases.

Hi Tommy i have a SE K530 with an Hge-100 serial bluetooth. Does this program support this device ?

No, but now. It’s displaying the same (changing) coordinates and speed as before (without enabled JSR179-support), but it draws its line.
Well, it’s drawing its line while I’m sitting on the couch (at 12km/h). ;-)

When I walk outside, so that it can really connect to the satellites, it’s displaying the same nonsense. And it never draws the way I move.

I don’t understand this behaviour. And well, I can’t really tell what JSRs are supported by the phone (which uses JMM - intent Java MIDlet Manager from Tao Group Limited).

Is there anything else I’ve to do than going to “Menu => Settings => Use JSR179 (if available)”?

After that, the main screen is still displaying some coordinates and speed which make no sense. Status is “not connected”.

I’m using a TyTN II from HTC which has an internal GPS device, too. But it seems to be that there’s no website or handbook on earth, which can tell me definitively all supported JSRs on this phone.
(Do you know a way to check that?)
