Nokia E71 and new Twitter client
I finally upgraded my phone from N80 to E71. The new Nokia E71 is a really nice. Even the Symbian S60 feels much better now that the phone has enough memory to run it. Operating system still has not changed that much compared to my first smart phone, Nokia 7650 which I had in 2002. This phone is still the best one I have ever had. Even Joel Spolsky is using it.
The new phone got me inspired to improve my Twitter client, Twim. I fixed a few bugs like showing the replies feed. I also added a new feature for displaying public feed in own tab. You can download the JAR and JAD files from the Twim page or directly from these links:

@Gonzague: Thanks. I’ll try to improve the accents handling. Next version already has the ability to response to tweets and open links mentioned in tweets in phone browser.

Many thanks, Tommi! Works well so far. The hardest part was finding the application on the phone after installtion. Another day or two and I’ll probably understand the E71 logic :-)

@CJ Good to hear! If you start to use Twim on daily basis then you can add shortcut icon to your home screen. In E71 the home screen application shortcuts can be modified from:
Tools > Modes > Home screen applications > Application shortcuts > Shortcut…

Love Twim, I’ve tried Twibble and TinyTwitter and Twim is still my favorite. Easiest to use. Thanks!

I am scared to download it, when I click on the link to download it, it then says that downloading it may be harmful to my phone.

Like the app. Been using it on my E71 for a short while, but now I can`t get my updates through when using Twim on the phone?
Tried resetting password, and I can read other updates fine.
twitter account works fine on PC, with updates also.
