I have a question for you – I’m using the Torch application on my W890i. It works well, but is it normal for the display to dim, and after a while the backlight to go out? I thought at first that when the app is active the display backlight won’t turn off but this isn’t the case.

Hello Tommi

Just got a Samsung Jet – lacks in-built torch of my previous phone.

I have tried installing Jad + Jar files (after extracting onto computer and transferring via USB.

However, an error message appears saying filetype is unsupported.

Is there a way around this?

Hello Tommi,

I appreciate this small program, but I was really looking for program which can swich on and off torch (flash ligt) on back side of my Nokia 6500 classic. I suppose that I can use shining white screen as torch but real deal would be get into swiching flashlight.

Please let me know if are you planning to release this program and I am sure other people would love this opportunity to have your program.

@mattis420: Yes, it acts like a flashlight. It can only displays white background which glows quite enough in the dark.

im going to buy a LG Delve soon, so does this “Tourch” act like an flashlight of some sort?? How bright does it get?
